Best Tundra Winch Bumper: 9 Front Bumpers Compared for 2014 to 2026

The best Tundra winch bumper starts with your model year and trim. The 2014 to 2021 Tundra and the 2022 and newer 3rd Gen use different bumpers, and several 3rd Gen bumpers rule out the TRD Pro or the hybrid, so check that first.

We carry nine front winch bumpers for the Toyota Tundra from Body Armor 4x4, CBI Offroad, Rago Fabrication, DV8 Offroad, Addictive Desert Designs, Fab Fours and C4 Fabrication. This guide compares them on what each maker publishes: the largest winch the mount takes, light mounts, trim fit, install work and price. Where a maker does not publish a number, we say so instead of guessing.

Best Tundra winch bumper: quick picks

Tundra winch bumpers compared

Prices from our product pages on October 31, 2026. Winch size is the largest winch each maker says its mount takes, not a bumper rating. Weights are the makers' numbers, except the Body Armor 4x4 Hiline (TN-19340) and Rago weights, which are from our product pages. Not listed means the maker does not publish it.

Body Armor 4x4 HiLine Front Winch Bumper (TN-19339): $699.99

White 2nd Gen Toyota Tundra with the Body Armor 4x4 HiLine front winch bumper, front view

The HiLine is a high clearance, low profile bumper with a bolt-on bull bar. Body Armor 4x4 lists it for up to a 10,000 lb winch and says it fits Warn Zeon winches. It bolts on directly, but the factory bumper has to be trimmed.

Why pick it

  • Lowest price of any Tundra winch bumper here
  • Bolt-on bull bar and integrated shackle recovery points
  • Mount for a 20 inch dual row LED bar
  • Works with the factory TRD skid plate; license plate bracket included

Trade-offs

  • The factory bumper must be trimmed
  • Built for up to a 10,000 lb winch, below the Eco Series
  • Body Armor 4x4 does not publish a weight

Body Armor 4x4 Eco Series Front Winch Bumper (TN-19336): $1,599.99

Body Armor 4x4 Eco Series front winch bumper for the 2014 to 2021 Toyota Tundra, product photo

The Eco Series is a full width bumper made from 1/8 inch steel plate with a reinforced 1/4 inch winch plate for up to a 12,000 lb winch. Body Armor 4x4 says it keeps the factory sensors working and bolts on with no drilling in about 2 hours.

Why pick it

  • Up to a 12,000 lb winch on a 1/4 inch winch plate
  • Mounts for a 30 inch LED bar and four LED cubes
  • No drilling; Body Armor 4x4 rates the install for light to moderate mechanical skills
  • Keeps the factory sensors

Trade-offs

  • More than twice the price of the HiLine
  • No published weight
  • No bull bar

2022 and newer Tundra winch bumpers (3rd Gen)

Body Armor 4x4 Hiline Front Winch Bumper (TN-19340): $830

Red 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra with the Body Armor 4x4 Hiline front winch bumper, red shackles and pod lights

Body Armor 4x4 lists the same features as the 2nd Gen HiLine: high clearance, low profile, a bolt-on bull bar and a mount for up to a 10,000 lb winch that fits Warn Zeon winches. It bolts on directly with trimming of the factory bumper.

Why pick it

  • Lowest price of the 3rd Gen bumpers here
  • Bolt-on bull bar and shackle recovery points
  • Mount for a 20 inch dual row LED bar
  • Works with the factory TRD skid plate

Trade-offs

  • The factory bumper must be trimmed
  • About 123 lb, per our product page
  • Built for up to a 10,000 lb winch, where CBI, Fab Fours and C4 go to 12,000 lb

CBI Offroad Covert Front Bumper: $1,000

Black 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra with the CBI Offroad Covert front bumper driving on a desert trail

The Covert is CBI's compact bumper. It follows the factory body lines and hides a 1/4 inch steel winch tray for a winch up to 12,000 lb. CBI recommends winches with a separate, non integrated solenoid for more mounting room, and the D-ring recovery points line up with the frame.

Why pick it

  • 85 lb before a winch and light bar, per CBI
  • Up to a 12,000 lb winch
  • Built-in 20 inch light bar mount
  • Two piece design makes the install easier to handle

Trade-offs

  • Trimming is required
  • Trucks with the factory power front spoiler need the CBI front spoiler delete module, sold separately
  • One light bar mount; no pod or cube mounts listed

Rago Center Mount Winch Front Bumper: $1,299.98

Black 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra with the Rago center mount winch front bumper and light bars

Rago's low profile steel bumper hides a standard winch mount behind the face and adds a pair of 1 inch thick D-ring mounts. It keeps the front camera, parking sensors, Toyota Safety Sense, adaptive cruise and the factory fog lights. Rago makes it in the USA.

Why pick it

  • Three places for lights: a 30 inch single row bar in the center, a 20 inch single row bar in the grille and two 3 inch pods
  • Keeps the factory driver assist systems and fog lights
  • About 72 lb, per our product page

Trade-offs

  • Does not fit the TRD Pro, Capstone or the Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition i-FORCE MAX; other hybrid trims need the Rago hybrid front spoiler delete
  • Cutting is required
  • Does not keep the factory front skid plate; the Rago aluminum skid is sold separately
  • Rago does not list a winch size limit

DV8 Offroad MTO Series Winch Front Bumper: $1,399.99

Silver 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra with the DV8 Offroad MTO Series winch front bumper, front view

The MTO Series is built from 3.5 mm and 5 mm steel plate with a hidden winch mount that DV8 says takes many winch sizes, plus two 3/4 inch D-ring shackle mounts. Extra steel plating guards the lower intercooler.

Why pick it

  • Works with the factory skid plates on all trims, TRD included
  • Keeps adaptive cruise and the parking sensors; an air dam relocation bracket is included
  • Mounts for two 3 inch pods and a 20 inch dual row bar behind the aluminum accent panel

Trade-offs

  • Does not fit the TRD Pro or any hybrid
  • Not compatible with roller fairleads
  • Trimming of the grille or bumper, fender flares and inner fenders; DV8 estimates 4 to 6 hours with a helper
  • No published weight or winch size limit

ADD Stealth Fighter Winch Front Bumper: $2,498.98

White 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra with the Addictive Desert Designs Stealth Fighter winch front bumper

ADD uses a radius plate design that sits close to the truck. A separate winch plate puts the winch between the frame rails and bolts straight to the frame. ADD builds it in Chandler, Arizona.

Why pick it

  • Center mount for any 40 inch radius light bar or up to 10 cube lights, plus a cube light mount on each side
  • Reinforced clevis mounts made for 3/4 inch D-rings or soft shackles
  • Keeps the factory fog lights, grille badge and front parking sensors
  • A TRD Pro does not need the spoiler delete

Trade-offs

  • Hybrid trims need the ADD hybrid front spoiler delete, sold separately
  • ADD rates the install Hard/Skilled: about 4 hours plus 1 hour to wire cube lights, two people, and cutting the grille and wheel well liner
  • No published weight or winch size limit

Fab Fours Matrix Front Bumper, Pre-Runner Guard: $2,560

Fab Fours Matrix front bumper with the pre-runner guard on a gray 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra

The Matrix is a slim, high and tight 3/16 inch US plate steel bumper made in South Carolina. Fab Fours lists it for a 9,000 to 12,000 lb winch, a Warn Zeon 12 or smaller, on a 10 by 4.5 inch winch bolt pattern. This version has the pre-runner tube guard.

Why pick it

  • Pre-runner tube guard over the grille
  • Holds a 30 inch light bar plus 2 or 4 cube LEDs
  • Two integrated D-ring mounts
  • Slim fitting steel design, per Fab Fours

Trade-offs

  • With a winch, the light bar must be single row and the winch control box must be relocated
  • Fab Fours has tested it on the TRD Sport and Off-Road grille style; other grilles are not confirmed
  • Recalibrate the driver assist systems any time they are disconnected
  • No published weight

C4 Fabrication Overland Series Front Bumper, Full-Height Bull Bar: $2,659

Silver 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra camper build with the C4 Fabrication Overland Series front bumper and full height bull bar

C4 builds the Overland Series from 3/16 inch laser cut P&O steel with 1/4 inch mounting and winch plates and fully welded 3/4 inch D-ring tabs. This version adds the full-height bull bar with headlight hoops in .120 wall tube. C4 says it fits most 8,000 to 12,000 lb winches and has verified the WARN VR and ZEON 10k and 12k.

Why pick it

  • Designed for a 40 inch single row bar (Baja Designs S8) and a pair of Baja Designs Squadron fog lights
  • Keeps Toyota Safety Sense, the parking sensors and the front camera
  • Steel front skid plate included

Trade-offs

  • 182 lb with this bull bar, per C4, the heaviest bumper here
  • Highest price here at $2,659
  • Cutting the plastic panels under the headlights and trimming the fender flare ends; a TSS recalibration may be needed
  • The factory fog lights are not kept, and some roller fairleads are too large; C4 recommends synthetic rope and a hawse fairlead

Rear bumper for the 3rd Gen Tundra

C4 Fabrication Overland Series Rear Bumper: $2,259

Tan 3rd Gen Toyota Tundra with the C4 Fabrication Overland Series rear bumper

If you want a matching rear, the C4 Overland Series rear bumper uses the same 3/16 inch P&O steel with fully welded 3/4 inch D-ring mounts inside and out. It fits around the factory hitch receiver so the factory tow rating stays, keeps the parking sensors and blind spot monitoring, and has cutouts for flush mount backup lights. C4 lists it at 151 lb. It does not work with the factory power rear bed step, and the plastic bumper corners must be trimmed.

How to choose a Tundra winch bumper

  • Start with the year. 2014 to 2021 trucks take the two Body Armor 4x4 bumpers. 2022 and newer trucks take the other seven.
  • Check your trim. On a 3rd Gen, the TRD Pro, Capstone and i-FORCE MAX hybrids narrow the list. Hybrid trims often need a front spoiler delete from the bumper maker.
  • Match the winch to the mount. Pick the winch first, then a bumper whose maker lists room for it. The pull rating is the winch's; the bumper number is the largest winch the mount takes.
  • Plan the lights now. Choose between one 20 inch bar (Body Armor 4x4 Hiline, CBI, DV8), a 30 inch bar (Eco Series, Rago, Fab Fours) or a 40 inch bar (ADD, C4) before you order.
  • Count the added weight. Published weights run from 85 lb for the CBI Covert to 182 lb for the C4 with the full bull bar, before the winch.
  • Expect some cutting. Most bumpers here call for trimming or cutting the factory plastic. Body Armor 4x4 says the Eco Series needs no drilling and takes about 2 hours; DV8 estimates 4 to 6 hours and ADD about 5 with cube light wiring.

Tundra winch bumper FAQ

Does a winch bumper have its own pull rating?

No. The pull rating belongs to the winch. What a bumper maker lists is the largest winch its mount is built to take: up to 10,000 lb for both Body Armor 4x4 HiLine bumpers, up to 12,000 lb for the Body Armor 4x4 Eco Series and the CBI Covert, 9,000 to 12,000 lb for the Fab Fours Matrix and 8,000 to 12,000 lb for the C4 Overland Series. None of the nine front bumpers here publishes a separate load rating for its winch plate, and Rago, DV8 and ADD do not list a winch size limit.

Which 3rd Gen Tundra winch bumpers fit a TRD Pro or an i-FORCE MAX hybrid?

Check this before anything else. DV8 says the MTO Series does not fit the TRD Pro or any hybrid. Rago rules out the TRD Pro, Capstone and the Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition i-FORCE MAX, and other hybrid trims need the Rago hybrid front spoiler delete. ADD says hybrid trims need its hybrid front spoiler delete, while a TRD Pro does not. CBI says trucks with the factory power front spoiler need its front spoiler delete module. Body Armor 4x4, Fab Fours and C4 do not list trim limits on their pages. Order now; we check fit against your vehicle after you order and contact you before it ships if anything doesn't match.

Do I need a hawse fairlead or a roller fairlead on a Tundra winch bumper?

Two makers here are specific. DV8 says the MTO Series does not work with roller fairleads and recommends an iron or steel hawse fairlead if you run steel cable. C4 recommends synthetic rope with a hawse fairlead on the Overland Series front bumper and notes that some roller fairleads are too large for its recessed fairlead plate. On these two bumpers, choose the rope and the fairlead together.

Which Tundra winch bumpers keep the factory front skid plate?

Body Armor 4x4 says both HiLine bumpers work with the factory TRD skid plate, and DV8 says the MTO Series works with the factory skid plates on all trims, TRD included. The Rago bumper does not keep the factory front skid plate; Rago sells a 3/16 inch aluminum skid plate for it separately. The C4 Overland Series front bumper comes with a steel front skid plate that replaces the factory plastic one.

Will a winch bumper affect Toyota Safety Sense or the parking sensors on a 2022 and newer Tundra?

Several makers address it directly. Rago says its bumper keeps the front camera, parking sensors, Toyota Safety Sense and adaptive cruise. C4 says the Overland Series keeps TSS, the parking sensors and the camera, that a TSS recalibration may be needed after install and that it recommends a level stance. DV8 keeps adaptive cruise and the parking sensors, and ADD has cutouts for the front parking sensors. Fab Fours says to recalibrate the driver assist systems any time they are disconnected.

Which winch bumpers fit a 2014 to 2021 Tundra?

Two of the bumpers here fit the 2014 to 2021 Tundra: the Body Armor 4x4 HiLine (TN-19339) at $699.99, built for up to a 10,000 lb winch with a 20 inch light bar mount, and the Body Armor 4x4 Eco Series (TN-19336) at $1,599.99, with a 1/4 inch winch plate for up to a 12,000 lb winch and mounts for a 30 inch bar and four cube lights. The 3rd Gen bumpers in this guide do not fit these years, and we do not carry a winch bumper for the 2007 to 2013 Tundra.
