Swagman: hitch, roof and truck bed racks for bikes, skis and kayaks
Swagman was founded in Penticton, British Columbia, and was one of the first companies to design and market a hitch style bike rack. Hitch racks are still the core of the line, from simple 2-bike platforms to e-bike racks with loading ramps.
- Everyday hitch racks: the XTC2, XTC2 TILT and XTC4 carry 2 or 4 standard bikes at up to 35 lb each, the Chinook carries 2 at up to 45 lb each, and the Quad 2+2 starts at 2 bikes and grows to 4.
- E-bike and heavy bike racks: the Current Pro and Skaha 2 Pro carry up to 60 lb per bike with trays for 5 in tires, and the E-Spec Pro and Escapee Pro carry up to 80 lb per bike and are RV approved as 2-bike racks. The Escapee Pro add-on expands it to 4 bikes.
- Loading and access: ramp and bridge kits roll heavy bikes up instead of lifting, fat tire and roll-thru trays widen the stock trays, and the Swivel swing away receiver opens the hatch with the rack on.
- Roof and truck bed: the Race Ready roof bike rack with no frame contact, the Squall 4 and Squall 6 ski and snowboard racks, the Contour and EXO Aero kayak carriers, and the Patrol fork mount rack for truck beds 45 to 68 in wide, which grows to 4 bikes with extra Impakt fork mounts.
