Winnerwell: wood stoves and fire pits for cold camps
Winnerwell traces its roots to Östersund in north-central Sweden, where hunter Magnus Lindberg built the first Winnerwell camp stove prototype to stay warm and cook on winter trips. He is still the chief designer of Winnerwell Nordic, and the brand says its gear is designed in the field, not in an office.
- Tent stoves: the Nomad and the Woodlander heat a canvas tent and cook dinner on the same AISI 304 stainless steel stove. Both come in Medium and Large, with a glass window door, side shelves that double as carry handles and legs that fold flat. They are for tents and shelters with a stove jack.
- Stove top oven: the Fastfold Oven sets on a Winnerwell stove for bread or biscuits, folds flat, sets up without tools and has a built-in thermometer and a window.
- Fire pit: the Flatfold Fire Pit in Large or X-Large is stainless steel, sets up in seconds and folds flat for the drive.
- Grill grate: the two-piece Flatfold grate covers half or all of the pit, so you can cook on one side and keep a flame open on the other.
A hot tent setup starts with a canvas tent with a stove jack and a stove sized to it, then a flue exit kit and dry, seasoned wood. Keep proper clearances, secure the legs and use the stoves for recreation only, not in a home. Check stove size, accessory size and tent fit on each product page.
