Land Rover Defender

Gear for the Land Rover Defender, new and classic

The Defender has lived two lives. The new Defender (L663, 2020 and up) brings factory roof tracks and a long, flat cargo floor. The classic Defender 90, 110 and 130 (1983 to 2016) brings rain gutters, a square roof and a lot of good miles. Everything on this page is listed by its maker for one or the other, so find your Defender below, then shop the grid above.

Roof first. Front Runner Slimline II racks give you a flat, strong deck for boxes, recovery boards, an awning or a rooftop tent. A load bar kit keeps things simple when you only need a few bars, and the ladders get you up top without climbing on the tires.

Then sleep. In the Defender 110, the Luno AIR Pro and AIR+FOAM Pro mattresses are cut to fill the cargo floor, and the matching fitted sheet keeps the bed made from one night to the next.

Application and fit

New Defender (2020+, L663)

• Slimline II roof rack kits for the Defender 90 and 110 (2020 and up) and the Defender 130 (2022 and up). Choose Front Runner foot rails, the lower Contour rails, or the Defender 110 kit that mounts to the factory roof tracks.
• The Defender 110 foot rail kit and the Defender 110 factory track kit are not for the folding fabric roof. The Defender 90 foot rail kit and the Defender 110 factory track kit are not for V8 models. The Land Rover factory ladder and roof storage box do not work with the 90 and 110 foot rail kits.
• Load bar kit for the Defender 90 and 110 (2020 and up) with the factory roof tracks.
• Side mount ladder for the 2020+ Defender with a Front Runner Slimline II rack. Front Runner does not say which kits it pairs with, so if you run a Contour or factory track kit, confirm fit with us before ordering.
• The Luno AIR Pro and AIR+FOAM Pro 4Runner/Defender mattresses fit the Defender 110 (2020 to 2026) without third-row seats, per Luno. The 4Runner/Defender fitted sheet is made for those two mattresses. Luno does not list the Defender 90 or 130, so for those, confirm fit with us before ordering.

Classic Defender 90, 110 and 130 (1983 to 2016)

• Slimline II roof rack kits on gutter mount legs for the Defender 90 and 110, in standard and tall versions. The 110 also has 3/4 and 3/4 tall kits, and the 1/2 and 1/2 tall kits fit both the 110 and the 130.
• Load bed rack kit for the Defender 130 pickup.
• Slimline II cab rack kit for the classic Defender single cab pickup, on gutter mount legs.
• Gutter mount load bar kit for the classic Defender, and a ladder for the Defender 90 and 110.
• Front Runner notes that the NAS roll cage on some Defenders can get in the way of the gutter mount legs. If yours has one, confirm fit with us before ordering. One 1/2 tall kit is listed for the classic Defender without a body length, so confirm fit with us before ordering that one too.
• The Luno mattresses are not listed for the classic Defender.
