The Swagman Escapee Pro Add-On is the two-bike extension for the Escapee Pro hitch rack (SKU 67693). It does not work as a stand-alone rack. Bolt it to the Escapee Pro you already own and the hitch setup carries four bikes instead of two.
The add-on uses the same zero-frame-contact locking ratchet arms as the base rack, so bikes are held by the wheels rather than the frame. Manufacturer load for the 4-bike configuration is up to 45 lb per bike. Wheel trays on this add-on are the upgraded trays used on Escapee Pro, and the combined platform stays compatible with Ramp & Bridge SKU 66694.
Important RV note: Escapee Pro is RV approved as a 2-bike rack on its own. With this add-on installed, the combined 4-bike system is not RV approved and must not be used on towable RVs, travel trailers, or fifth wheels.
