The Tuff Stuff Stealth is a 3 person aluminum hardshell rooftop tent with a side-opening shell and a 71 x 87 in mattress, which Tuff Stuff says is bigger than a king. It is a four-season tent that sets up in under two minutes.

The aluminum shell shrugs off low branches and rocky ledges, and a rack on top carries up to 110 lb of gear.

Mounting: the Stealth is designed to open to the passenger side. It can be mounted to open from either side, and one end has a slight taper for less drag. Mounting takes at least two people, with 2 bolts per corner, one in front of and one behind each crossbar.

How do I set up and open the Stealth hardshell?
Tuff Stuff puts setup at under two minutes. Undo the side buckles and push up on the handle so the hydraulic rams lift the aluminum shell. Pull the telescoping ladder out to full length, then pull down on it until the folding side of the tent opens all the way. Set the ladder angle, fit the tension rods on the overhang and windows, and unzip the door.
