The HitchFire F-20 is a full-size propane grill that mounts to a standard 2 in hitch receiver on HitchFire's patented dual swing arm. It swings out up to 180 degrees, so you keep full tailgate access while you cook.

Will the HitchFire F-20 fit my vehicle?
The F-20 mounts to a 2 in hitch receiver, and HitchFire says that covers most trucks, SUVs, vans and RVs. It rides on HitchFire's dual swing arm, which locks to the receiver with a hitch pin and collar. Order now; we check fit against your vehicle after you order and contact you before it ships if anything doesn't match.
Can I drive with the F-20 on the hitch?
Yes. HitchFire says the grill stays mounted on the swing arm, outside the vehicle, while you drive, and that it has road tested its systems from the Rubicon to Baja California. Before you pull out, HitchFire says to secure loose parts and disconnect the propane.
What happens to my license plate when the grill is mounted?
If the F-20 covers your plate, HitchFire includes a temporary license plate bracket on the dual swing arm. Move the plate to the bracket while the grill is on the hitch, then move it back when you take the grill off.
Which propane tanks work with the F-20, and is propane included?
HitchFire lists 1 lb, 5 lb and 20 lb propane tanks. A 1 lb regulator hose ships with the grill. Propane is not included, and the adapter hose for 5 lb or 20 lb tanks is sold separately, as is the splitter hose HitchFire suggests for running two appliances off one tank.

How do I clean and care for the F-20?
Let it cool, then wash the grate, drip pan and surfaces with warm soapy water, and check the drip pan for grease before each cook, per HitchFire. After time near the ocean, rinse it with fresh water and dry it, since HitchFire does not cover salt corrosion under its 2-year warranty. After a stretch off the road, clean the burner tube, where spiders can nest, and leak check the fittings with soapy water.
