How bright is the BC06R and how long does it run?
Fenix rates the BC06R at a maximum of 90 lumens with up to 24 hours 30 minutes of runtime from its built-in 560mAh battery. Its CREE XP-E2 red LEDs reach a beam distance of 328 feet (100 meters), and a 270 degree lighting angle gives wide visibility on the road.
What happens when I brake with the BC06R on?
Fenix says a sudden reduction in riding speed automatically triggers Braking mode, which switches the light to high output. After two seconds the light recalls the previously used output. A memory circuit also remembers your last mode, excluding Braking, so the BC06R comes back on where you left it.
Which lighting modes does the BC06R offer?
Eight, per Fenix. A single click cycles through low constant on, low slow flash, low fast flash, high constant on, high slow flash, high fast flash and spinning, and the eighth is the automatic braking light. Press and hold the switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on or off.
How do I charge the BC06R taillight?
Turn it off, open the anti dust cover and plug in the USB Type-C cable Fenix includes. The indicator shows red while charging and green when full, about 2 hours from empty. Close the cover afterward to keep it dustproof and waterproof. Fenix says Low constant on still works while charging, though charging takes longer.
Does the BC06R go on a seatpost or saddle rails?
Both work. Fenix includes a seatpost mount with mounting strap for seatposts 25.4 mm to 31.6 mm in diameter, plus a saddle rail mount with four fastening ties for rails spaced 39.0 mm to 50.0 mm apart. A quick release structure lets you take the light on and off its mount.
How weatherproof is the BC06R?
