The Body Armor 4x4 Ambush XT front bumper is a one-piece wraparound bumper and brush guard for the 2017 to 2022 Ford Super Duty. Its contours follow the factory body lines while the guard covers the grille and headlights.

It keeps the factory camera and works with adaptive cruise control, and it bolts on. It is a non-winch bumper, so pick it if you want full front protection, lighting mounts and recovery points without a winch.

Does the FD-20341 Ambush XT fit an F-450 or F-550?
Yes. Part FD-20341 covers all four Super Duty chassis, the F-450 and F-550 included, on 2017 to 2022 trucks per Body Armor 4x4.
How does the FD-20341 keep adaptive cruise control working?
It moves the ACC sensor onto the bumper. Body Armor 4x4 includes an ACC relocation bracket, a plastic sensor cover and an adapter bracket for the late style sensor with tabs on top and bottom. Trucks without ACC get a cover plate instead. The guide says not to overtighten the 6mm sensor bolts and allows a slight tilt adjustment after a test drive.
Can I put cube lights in the ends of the FD-20341?
Yes. Body Armor 4x4 builds light openings into each end, part of its fitment for 4 cube LEDs plus a 30 inch dual row bar in the center. The lights are sold separately. If a light is tight front to back, the guide says to remove the screen behind the opening. On two light setups, the flood goes in the outer slot and the spot in the inner slot.
Can one person install the FD-20341 bumper?
Body Armor 4x4 says no. Its guide calls the bumper heavy and highly recommends a helper to avoid injury or damage to the truck. The factory bumper sits on blocks or jack stands while its bolts come out, and the new bumper must be fully supported before you attach it to the frame brackets.
Does the FD-20341 mesh guard block airflow to the radiator?
Not by design. Body Armor 4x4 says the mesh screen allows maximum airflow while protecting vital components, and the wraparound guard shields the grille and headlights in one piece. A center mesh fill panel closes the middle opening when you skip the light bar. If your Super Duty has a grille mounted factory camera, the guide has you remove the center screen.
Where do recovery straps attach on the FD-20341?
An integrated 2 inch receiver plus shackle recovery mounts, per Body Armor 4x4. Both are integrated into the bumper itself. This Ambush XT is not winch compatible, so those mounts are its recovery points. Body Armor 4x4 also lists the receiver among the features of the one piece wraparound design, alongside the factory camera retention and adaptive cruise control support.
