Description

The Dometic CFX5 45 is a 46L portable fridge freezer and electric cooler for camping, road trips and overland travel. Dometic sizes it for up to five people on weekend trips, family camping and longer travel.

It holds up to 67 12 oz cans, cools from -7F to 68F and runs on 12/24V DC or 100 to 240V AC, so it works in the vehicle, at camp or at home.

Why it works

  • Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIP) and a tight TPE lid gasket hold the cold
  • VMSO 3.5 compressor cools down to -7F
  • Bluetooth app tracks power use and temperature and alerts you if the lid is left open
  • Extended evaporator on the inner walls spreads cold air evenly
  • 3-stage dynamic battery protection
  • Self-folding aluminum alloy handles, removable nonslip lid and a built-in bottle opener

Fit

Power: runs on 12/24V DC in the vehicle or 100 to 240V AC at home, with both cables included. There is no internal battery. Dometic's 3-stage battery protection watches the vehicle battery so the cooler doesn't drain it.

Size check: 27.32 x 15.67 x 18.74 in (D x W x H). Measure your cargo area or drawer slide before ordering. M6 threaded inserts in the base let you bolt it down.

Options: choose Cooler Only, or Cooler + Protective Cover to add the Dometic protective cover (part 9620012805).
