Description
The GRAYL UltraPress One-Way Drink Mix Valve lets you add electrolytes and drink mixes to your purified water without harming the filter. This UltraPress drink mix valve uses four duck bill valves that stop water or other drinks from flowing back through the cartridge, while clean water still passes through into the inner press.
GRAYL now ships the valve pre-installed in every UltraPress, so this is a spare or a replacement. It is food grade silicone, BPA free and dishwasher safe. Press it into the cartridge with your thumbs and check that the rim sits flush. To dry a wet cartridge, take the valve out and let the cartridge air dry, which GRAYL says takes 2 to 4 days.
