Rugged GMR2 PLUS - GMRS and FRS Two Way Handheld Radio with Hand Mic
Description
The Rugged GMR2 PLUS with Hand Mic bundles the GMR2 PLUS handheld GMRS radio with Rugged's waterproof speaker hand mic. Clip the radio to your belt or pack and talk through the mic on your shoulder or chest, which is easier on a bike, behind the wheel or with gloves on.
The GMR2 PLUS has 22 GMRS channels, so it talks to other GMRS radios and to FRS radios on the shared channels. Rugged says the optimized transmitter and tuned antenna give long-range performance, and the radio can transmit at lower power to stretch battery life.
You also get weather channels, an FM radio, a built-in flashlight, an A/B channel switch and a backlit display. The 2-pin port works with Rugged V3 accessories, and the antenna is removable for future upgrades. The Li-ion battery charges in the cradle, or over USB with an optional cable.
