The Rugged Rambler G4 is a 50 watt GMRS mobile radio for trucks, SUVs and vans with a closed cab. A Mitsubishi transmit amplifier holds steady power through long transmissions, and the RIDEui menu with an LED display keeps settings easy to find on a bumpy trail.

It mounts with a standard U-bracket or the AMPS pattern, which works with RAM mounts. Rugged points open-cab and wet-weather users to the IP67 G1 instead. This is the radio only; add coax and an antenna, or pick the kit version.
