This Rugged Radios magnetic antenna moves your handheld's antenna from inside the cab to the roof, where it can reach much farther. Set the magnetic base on a large steel surface, connect the BNC end to your handheld and you are on the air.
It is the quickest range upgrade for a GMR2 PLUS, GMR5 or GMR5-X when you do not want to install a mobile radio.
