The HitchFire Cook Station is a hitch-mounted camp kitchen that turns the back of your vehicle into a kitchen and cargo system. It is built on the 38 x 24 in Ledge XL platform, with a slide-out sink basin and a slide-out single burner stove.

On the Dual Swing versions, HitchFire's patented dual swing arm swings it out of the way for full tailgate access without unloading.

Will the HitchFire Cook Station fit my truck or SUV?
It slides into any standard 2 inch hitch receiver, per HitchFire, so it is not tied to one make or model. The platform measures 38 x 24 inches.
Can I open my tailgate with the Cook Station installed?
Yes on the Dual Swing versions. HitchFire's patented dual swing arm pivots the loaded platform 90 or 180 degrees and locks in place, so the hatch or tailgate opens without unloading anything. HitchFire's dual arms can be set to swing toward the passenger or driver side. Platform Only versions do not include the swing arm.
What is the difference between the Cook Station and the Ultimate Cook Station?
Both include the 38 x 24 inch platform, slide-out sink basin, slide-out single burner stove, removable side rails and mounting hardware, per HitchFire. The Ultimate adds a Dometic GO battery-powered faucet, a 1 lb propane refill kit, and a magnetic cup holder and spice rack. Either one comes as Dual Swing, with the swing arm, or Platform Only, without it.
How does the Cook Station sink get water?
HitchFire lists the slide-out basin as gravity-fed or pump compatible, and says the Cook Station works with gravity-fed water systems or electric faucet upgrades. The Ultimate version adds a Dometic GO battery-powered faucet. HitchFire describes the sink for washing and food prep.
How much gear can I carry on the Cook Station when I am not cooking?
Inside the rails, HitchFire lists 34.5 x 19 inches of flat cargo space on a steel platform. Integrated mounting points take straps and hooks for a cooler, water, firewood or other bulky gear you want outside the cabin. HitchFire makes the side rails removable for flexible cargo and workspace setups.
What warranty does HitchFire put on the Cook Station?
HitchFire backs the Cook Station with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
