This is the One-Way Valve for the GRAYL GeoPress. It lets you add electrolytes or drink mix to the bottle and keep pressing clean water, since the valve stops the mix from running back into the cartridge.

GRAYL says it redesigned its GeoPress cartridges in April 2023 with a new core and flow channels so they could take this valve. The valve now ships pre-installed in every GeoPress, so this is a spare or replacement.

Fit

Made for the GRAYL GeoPress with a cartridge from the April 2023 redesign or later. Older cartridges were not built for the valve, per GRAYL. UltraPress owners need the UltraPress valve instead.
