G1 Adventure Series - 40W Waterproof GMRS Mobile Radio
Description
The Rugged Radios G1 Adventure Series is an IP67 waterproof GMRS mobile radio designed in Arroyo Grande, California for the trail. This G1 adventure GMRS radio is the radio only, with a hand mic, power harness and U-Bracket. It does not include coax or an antenna, so choose the G1 Adventure Series Radio Kit if you need those too.
It is built on the same platform as Rugged's M1 Race Series radio, with an all-aluminum chassis that shields the circuits from radio frequency interference, a Mitsubishi transmit amplifier that holds a stable 41.4 watts through each transmission and a clear-hear Superheterodyne receiver. D.A.V.E. noise cancelling isolates your voice, and Bluetooth pairs speakers, headphones or earbuds.
The large display and programmable quick-access controls keep settings easy to reach, and the Accessory Hub gives remote access to the programming port and a 3.5 mm speaker output. The Rugged Ready port connects intercoms, headsets and other Rugged accessories.

Fit
Universal mobile radio, not vehicle specific.
Talks to: all GMRS radios, including Rugged, Motorola, Midland and Uniden, and FRS radios on channels 1 to 7 and 15 to 22.
License: Rugged Radios states that a GMRS license is required to transmit on GMRS channels.
Needed: a GMRS antenna and coax, sold separately.
