The Tuff Stuff Alpha is a hybrid side-opening ABS hardshell rooftop tent that sets up in under 2 minutes. The sloped aerodynamic shell is built to keep wind resistance low on the road, and the higher closed profile lets you leave bedding inside when packed.

Application

Rooftop tents are not vehicle-specific. Mount to a roof rack, bed rack, or trailer with crossbars that can support the tent weight plus people inside. Confirm your rack and vehicle dynamic load ratings before install. Maker mounting hardware fits crossbars up to 3.25 inches wide. Mounting rails are 32.5 inches apart. The Alpha opens to the passenger side only. For pickup trucks, the maker recommends a truck bed rack and does not recommend mounting Alpha tents on the truck cab roof.
