The add-on uses the same zero-frame-contact locking ratchet arms as the Skaha 2. Each bike is held by the front tire, so carbon and painted frames stay clear of clamps. Wheel trays on this page already cover 20-29 inch wheels and tires up to 5 inches wide, which is enough for fat-tire mountain bikes and many e-bikes with no adapter. An optional Ramp & Bridge (sold separately) can help roll heavier bikes into the trays.

Four-bike loading stays inside the limits already published for this SKU: 60 lb on each of the two inner Skaha 2 positions and 30 lb on each outer add-on position, or 45 lb per bike across all four. The combined rack still folds when empty, so the overhang is easier to live with at trailheads and in parking lots. This add-on fits Skaha 2 only. It does not fit Skaha 2 Pro.
