ultrapress-one-way-drink-mix-valve
UltraPress One-Way Drink Mix Valve

The GRAYL UltraPress One-Way Drink Mix Valve lets you add electrolytes and drink mixes to your purified water without harming the filter. This UltraPress drink mix valve uses four duck bill valves that stop water or other drinks from flowing back through the cartridge, while clean water still passes through into the inner press.

GRAYL now ships the valve pre-installed in every UltraPress, so this is a spare or a replacement. It is food grade silicone, BPA free and dishwasher safe. Press it into the cartridge with your thumbs and check that the rim sits flush. To dry a wet cartridge, take the valve out and let the cartridge air dry, which GRAYL says takes 2 to 4 days.

Why it works

Add drink mixes to purified water

Four duck bill valves stop back flow

Food grade silicone, BPA free

Dishwasher safe

Weighs 0.35 oz

Fit

Universal for any GRAYL UltraPress or UltraLight purifier cartridge, per GRAYL.

Specs

Size: 1.9 in (4.8 cm) H x 1.4 in (3.4 cm) W

Weight: 0.35 oz (10 g)

Material: food grade silicone, BPA free

Part number: 520-DMV-CL

Origin: designed in USA, made in China

In the box

UltraPress One-Way Drink Mix Valve, clear

Warranty

GRAYL lists a 10 year warranty covering workmanship and materials on this product.
